Library tours for groups

Our library tours give an introduction into using the ZBW here in Hamburg. They are offered to groups with advance appointments and usually last one hour.

With our guided tours we want to give an insight into the options for literature search, ordering and borrowing at the ZBW. We will inform you about our online services and databases and give an overview of our holdings of books, journals and newspapers. For team work, e.g. to wrap up the guided tour, our training classroom can be put at your disposal, provided that a teacher or supervisor is constantly present. If you would like to use the room, please inquire already when making your appointment if it will be available on the day of the tour.

Individual visitors

Individuals who would like to know about our institution and our services can also take part in a library tour. If you contact us we will try to assign you to a group.
