Directions

From the Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof)

Take the Underground U1 (to Norderstedt) to Stephansplatz station.

From the Railway Station Hamburg-Dammtor

Take the exit Messe/CCH. From there it takes around 10 minutes to reach us on foot.

Please walk the entire length of the pedestrian bridge to the left of the exit and continue straight ahead to the big intersection. At the intersection you cross Dammtordamm on the left side towards the Casino and then to the right heading for the antiquarian bookstore on Esplanade. Follow Esplanade leftwards until it intersects with Neuer Jungfernstieg. In the first building on your right hand you will find the ZBW.

From Fuhlsbüttel Airport

Take the rapid-transit railway S1 to Ohlsdorf station. From there you take the Underground U1 (to Farmsen) to Stephansplatz station. The journey takes about 30 minutes.

A taxi ride from Fuhlsbüttel Airport to the German National Library of Economics in Hamburg will take approx. 25 minutes.
